Open House Highlights:
The first Spring Open House and celebration of our new Field Station facilities was a huge success. 170 people attended, the weather was perfect, the food, the music and especially all the wonderful conversations created the perfect kick-off for the next chapter in Blue Oak Ranch Reserve's history.

California Ecology and Conservation Class Arrives!
25 students, 2 professors and 4 assistants arrived on Saturday to begin their 7-week 100% NRS Field Studies Program of Reserve-based instruction and hands-on activities which includes multiple visits to Blue Oak Ranch, as well as Angelo Reserve, Yosemite Field Station, Sedgewick Reserve and the Granite Mountains Reserve. The course will be visiting BORR multiple times per year and contributing to our knowledge of the natural sysytems and bioldiversity of most of our Reserves.
